The Short Answer

APG: Advanced Printing and Graphics provides office branding in Colorado Springs: reception logo walls, printed and cut-vinyl wall graphics, frosted and branded conference room glass, wayfinding, and interior signage, produced from your brand standards and installed by our team. A typical office project takes two to four weeks from approved estimate and deposit to installation, depending on the materials and the amount of wall and glass involved. Interior graphics that are not visible from outside generally fall outside the city's exterior sign permit process, which keeps most office work faster than exterior signage. APG works with local businesses and with regional offices of national companies that need a local team to apply a corporate brand standard correctly.

Most offices do not need more decoration. They need the brand a client sees on the website to show up the moment they walk through the door.

Office branding is the interior side of your sign program: the logo behind reception, the graphics on the conference room glass, the wall that tells visitors what the company does, and the directional signs that get them to the right suite. Done well, it makes a leased space feel like it belongs to your company. Done poorly, it looks like a rental with a sticker on it.

Our team handles this work from our office at 955 Garden of the Gods Road. We measure the space, plan every surface against your brand standards, produce the graphics, and install them. This page explains what office branding includes, how the materials hold up on real walls, what to plan for in a leased space, and how a project runs from first walk-through to final install.

What office branding includes

Office branding covers every surface inside your space that carries your name, your logo, or your message. Most projects combine four or five of these pieces, planned together so they share colors, typefaces, and proportions.

Reception and lobby logo walls

The first thing a visitor sees. Usually a dimensional logo in acrylic, PVC, or metal mounted on standoffs or flush to the wall, sometimes over a printed or painted accent wall. Our lobby signs page covers materials and mounting in more detail.

Wall graphics and murals

Printed wall films cover a full wall edge to edge with photography, patterns, or a company story. Cut vinyl lettering puts a mission statement, values, or a tagline on a painted wall without a background. Large printed walls are covered on our wall murals page.

Conference room and office glass

Frosted film adds privacy to glass walls and doors while letting light through. Branded glass film adds a logo band, room names, or a pattern at eye level, which also makes clear glass easier to see.

Wayfinding and room identification

Suite signs, room names, restroom signs, and directional signs. Permanent room signs follow the ADA standards, which our ADA and interior signs page explains.

Dimensional lettering and accent pieces

Cut letters and logo shapes used beyond the lobby, such as a department name, a values wall, or a logo in a training room. See our dimensional letters page for how these are made.

Working from your brand standards

Companies with more than one location usually have a brand standards guide: approved logo versions, clear space rules, color values, typefaces, and sometimes a list of approved materials. Regional and branch offices are often expected to follow it exactly, and the local team is the one that answers for it when something is off.

We start every office project by reading the standards before we design anything. The details that matter most for interior graphics are:

  • Color values. A brand color is usually defined as a Pantone, CMYK, RGB, and sometimes a paint or vinyl equivalent. Printed films, colored vinyl, painted acrylic, and wall paint each hit that color differently, so we match each material separately and show the results before production.
  • Logo versions. Many guides specify which logo version may be used on dark walls, light walls, and glass, and what minimum size applies.
  • Clear space. The empty space required around a logo affects where it can sit on a wall between doors, outlets, and thermostats.
  • Approved vendors or materials. Some companies specify materials or require approval from a corporate marketing contact before anything is ordered.

If your company does not have formal standards, we work from your logo files and website so the office matches what clients already know. Our branding team can also put a simple standards sheet together for future projects.

How wall graphics hold up on real office walls

The wall matters as much as the graphic. Wall films are designed for clean, sound, painted drywall, and a few conditions change what we recommend.

  • Fresh paint. Paint has to cure before film goes on, or the film can fail to bond or can pull paint when removed. Industry guidance commonly calls for about 30 days of cure time, and we follow the specific film's instructions.
  • Texture. Smooth and light orange peel walls take standard wall films well. Heavy knockdown texture, brick, and concrete block need films made for textured surfaces and a different install method.
  • Paint type. Some low-VOC and scrubbable paints resist adhesion. We test a small piece on the wall during the site visit when the paint is unknown.
  • Exit corridors. Graphics in corridors and stairwells may need to meet interior finish requirements. Ask for the film's fire rating documentation, usually tested to ASTM E84, when graphics go in those spaces.
Colorado note

Indoor air along the Front Range is dry for much of the year. Wall films handle it well, but paper-backed wallcoverings can lift at seams in a dry winter, which is one reason we steer most printed walls toward films designed for drywall.

Removable or permanent: planning around a lease

Most Colorado Springs offices are leased, and most leases require the tenant to return the walls in their original condition. That shapes the material choice from the start.

  • Removable wall films use adhesives designed to come off painted drywall cleanly within the manufacturer's stated removal window. They are the default choice for leased offices.
  • Permanent films bond harder and suit owned buildings, long leases, and high-traffic walls that get bumped by carts and chairs.
  • Dimensional logos are usually mounted with standoffs or studs, which leaves small holes to patch at move-out. Double-sided tape mounting avoids holes on lightweight pieces but can pull paint when removed.

Check your lease for language about alterations, signage, and wall finishes before the design is final. Some landlords want to approve interior graphics visible from a shared corridor, and almost all of them want to approve anything visible from outside the building. Our guide to sign permits after Ordinance 26-01 covers the exterior side.

Glass: privacy, safety, and branding in one film

Glass walls make offices feel open, but they create three problems: no privacy for meetings, people walking into clear glass, and blank surfaces that do nothing for the brand. One film can solve all three.

  • Frosted bands at seated eye level give privacy for meetings while keeping light and an open feel above and below.
  • Visibility markings at standing eye level make large panes of clear glass easier to see. A logo or pattern band does this job without looking like a warning sticker.
  • Room names and logos cut into frosted film give conference rooms an identity without separate signs.

Film on interior glass is out of the weather, so it holds up well and is easy to replace if a room name changes. Storefront windows facing the street are a different job with different rules, covered on our window graphics page.

Regional offices of national companies

National companies with an office in Colorado Springs often need a local team to apply a corporate standard, coordinate with a building manager, and install without disrupting a working office. We handle that kind of work, and the process is the same whether the request comes from the local office manager or a corporate facilities contact.

What helps us move quickly on these projects:

  • The brand standards guide and any approved artwork files
  • A floor plan or photos of each wall and glass surface
  • The name of the person who approves proofs, especially if it is someone at corporate
  • Building rules for install hours, loading access, and insurance certificates

For exterior signage on the same building, see our page on national and multi-location brand signage.

Is office branding the right project for you?

Interior graphics are a strong fit for most offices, but not every situation.

A good fit when

  • Clients or recruits visit your office and form an opinion of the company there
  • You moved into a new space or are refreshing an older one
  • Your company has brand standards a local office needs to follow
  • Conference rooms need privacy without losing light
  • You want a values, history, or mission wall for staff

Look elsewhere when

  • Your lease prohibits any wall alterations and the landlord will not approve removable films
  • The space will be vacated in a few months
  • You need exterior building signage only, which our custom signs team handles separately
Key Takeaways

The Short Version

Common questions

Office Branding FAQ

What is office branding?

Office branding is the use of signs and graphics inside a workplace to show the company's identity: a reception logo wall, wall graphics, branded conference room glass, wayfinding, and room signs. In Colorado Springs, APG designs, produces, and installs these pieces from the company's brand standards.

How long does an office branding project take?

Most office projects take two to four weeks from approved estimate and deposit to installation. Small vinyl projects can be faster, and projects with large dimensional logos or many rooms take longer.

Do interior wall graphics need a permit in Colorado Springs?

Interior graphics that are not visible from outside generally fall outside the city's exterior sign permit process. Graphics on windows facing the street follow the city's window rules, and anything on the building exterior needs its own review.

Can wall graphics be removed when our lease ends?

Yes, when they are produced on removable wall film and removed within the manufacturer's stated window. Removable films are designed to come off sound painted drywall cleanly. Dimensional logos mounted on studs leave small holes that are patched at move-out.

Can you match our corporate brand colors exactly?

Exact matches are not always possible, so we match brand colors material by material, because printed film, colored vinyl, painted acrylic, and wall paint each reproduce a color differently. Color matches are shown for approval before production. Once the estimate is approved and the deposit is received, our team will begin the design and proofing process.

Do you work with regional offices of national companies?

Yes. APG works with local offices of national companies that need a corporate brand standard applied correctly in Colorado Springs, including proof approval by a corporate contact and coordination with building management.

Can you put graphics on textured walls?

Yes, with the right material. Smooth and light orange peel walls take standard wall films. Heavy texture, brick, and block need films made for textured surfaces and a heat-assisted install method.

How soon after painting can wall graphics go up?

Wall graphics should go up only after the paint cures. Industry guidance commonly calls for about 30 days, and we follow the specific film's instructions so the graphic bonds and removes cleanly later.

Do you provide frosted film for conference rooms?

Yes. Frosted and decorative glass films add privacy to conference rooms and private offices, and can include logos, room names, or patterns cut into the film.
