Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2, 2026
These terms cover the use of apg2u.com and the general conditions APG: Advanced Printing and Graphics works under. Every project also has a written estimate. Where a signed estimate and these terms disagree, the signed estimate controls.
1. About these terms
This website is operated by APG: Advanced Printing and Graphics, 955 Garden of the Gods Rd, Suite A, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The website is information, not an offer
Pricing ranges, timelines, material notes, and permit information published on this site are general and current as of the date shown. They are typical ranges and are not project specific estimates. Sign codes, fee schedules, and material availability change. Nothing on this site creates a binding quote or a contract. A binding price exists only in a written estimate issued by APG for your specific project.
3. Estimates
We provide estimates based on the information you give us, including dimensions, photos, site conditions, and artwork. An estimate is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. An estimate may change if:
- The scope, size, quantity, or materials change
- Site conditions differ from what was described or photographed
- Landlord criteria, engineering, or permit requirements add work
- Access requires equipment or scheduling that was not anticipated
- Material costs move significantly between the estimate and production
If a change affects the price, we tell you before we proceed.
4. Deposits, design, and proofs
Once the estimate is approved and the deposit is received, our team will begin the design and proofing process. We do not produce proofs, renderings, or mockups before that point.
Deposits are typically 50 percent unless the estimate states otherwise. Deposits cover design time, materials ordered for your project, and scheduling, and they are non refundable once design work or material ordering has begun.
5. Proof approval is final
Before anything is printed, cut, or fabricated, we send a proof. Please read it carefully. Check spelling, phone numbers, web addresses, colors, sizes, and placement.
Once you approve a proof in writing, you accept responsibility for what is on it. Reprints or refabrication required because of an error that appeared on an approved proof are billed as new work. This is standard across the printing and signage industry and it is the reason we ask for written approval.
If we make an error against an approved proof, we correct it at our cost.
6. Color
Printed color varies between substrates, print methods, and production runs. Vinyl, paper, apparel, and painted or laminated surfaces do not reproduce color identically, and screens do not match print. We color match as closely as the process allows and we can supply a printed sample when accurate color is critical. Reasonable variation is not a defect. If your brand requires an exact match, tell us before production so we can quote the additional work.
7. Artwork and files
If you supply artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone's trademark, copyright, or other rights. You agree to cover APG for any claim arising from artwork you supplied. We may decline any job.
Artwork we create for you becomes yours once the project is paid in full. Until then it remains our property. Working files, production files, layered source files, and cut files remain APG property unless the estimate says they transfer. We keep your files on hand so future work matches, which is the point of using one team.
Unless you ask us not to, we may photograph completed work and use those photos in our portfolio, on this website, and in our marketing.
8. Permits, landlords, and engineering
Many permanent signs require a permit. Where permitting is part of the project, we prepare and submit the application, but approval is up to the jurisdiction and we cannot guarantee a result or a review timeline. Some sign projects require engineered drawings based on the sign type, size, mounting method, and site conditions. We confirm the applicable requirements as part of the project review.
You are responsible for supplying landlord approval and any sign criteria that applies to your space. If a landlord requires a sign type we do not offer, we review the requirements and discuss the options with you. Permit fees, engineering fees, and any fines or corrections caused by information that turns out to be inaccurate are billed to you at cost.
9. Installation
APG primarily installs signage produced as part of our own projects. Because the installation falls under our permit, we generally do not install signs produced by unknown or unverified manufacturers. Exceptions may be considered for established national brands when complete shop drawings and specifications are provided. Each project is reviewed before we accept the installation.
For installation you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the site or the vehicle, along with power where it is required. We handle the installation, including equipment coordination when needed, through the final walkthrough. Install dates depend on weather, permit approval, material lead times, and access, and we schedule around all four.
10. Vehicles
Vehicles must arrive clean and free of wax and dressings. We inspect the vehicle before work begins.
A professionally installed wrap generally does not damage sound factory paint and can help protect it from UV exposure and normal road wear. However, repainted panels, failing clear coat, rust, and existing paint damage may be affected during installation or removal. We inspect the vehicle and discuss any concerns before production. APG is not responsible for damage to paint that was already compromised, or for pre existing damage, or for personal property left in a vehicle.
If your vehicle is required to display a company name, USDOT number, or other commercial markings, we can include those items in the layout based on the information you provide. Confirming what your operation is required to display is your responsibility.
11. Repairs and warranty
APG provides repair and maintenance services for signs we originally produced. If an APG sign is damaged, has an electrical issue, or needs an approved face replacement, send us a photo and the project information so our team can review it.
We warrant our workmanship against defects in fabrication and installation for one year from installation. Materials carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through. The warranty does not cover hail, wind, vandalism, accidents, vehicle collisions, improper cleaning, alterations by others, normal wear, or fading beyond the film manufacturer's rating. Warranty work requires the account to be current.
12. Payment
The balance is due on completion unless the estimate sets different terms. Past due balances may accrue interest at 1.5 percent per month, and we may hold delivery, installation, or files until the account is current. If collection becomes necessary you are responsible for reasonable costs and attorney fees. Colorado sales tax applies where required.
13. Cancellation
Cancel before design begins and your deposit is refunded. After design begins, you are billed for the design time completed. After materials are ordered or production begins, the order is not cancellable and the full amount is due. Custom work cannot be restocked.
14. Storage of completed work
Finished work should be picked up or installed within 30 days of notice that it is ready. After 30 days we may charge storage. After 90 days we may treat the item as abandoned and dispose of it, and any balance remains due.
15. Limits of liability
To the extent Colorado law allows, APG's total liability on any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or other indirect or consequential damages, including losses tied to a delayed install, a permit denial, or a sign being down.
16. Website content and use
The text, photography, guides, and design on apg2u.com belong to APG. You may read, print, and share our guides for your own use and link to them. You may not republish them, sell them, or use them to train a commercial model without written permission.
You agree not to attempt to break into the site, scrape it in a way that degrades it, or submit forms with false information. The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or interruptions.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving El Paso County, Colorado. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
18. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date at the top. Projects are governed by the version in effect when your estimate was signed.
